The petitioner has filed this petition, seeking to quash the proceedings in PRC.No.45 of 2019 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Pattukottai.

2. The case of the prosecution is that on 14.01.2013 at about 10.45 a.m., while the defacto complinant came to his house, the petitioner and other accused persons attacked the defacto complainant with deadly weapons and caused injuries.

3. The learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the issue has been amicably resolved between the parties.

4. The petitioner has been charged for the offence under Section 307 of IPC also. Considering the offence under Section 307 of IPC, this Court is not inclined to entertain this petition on the ground of compromise.
