O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed, seeking a direction to the second respondent to effect electricity service connection to the property in Old Door No.6/B and new Door No.20/B, Karuveppilaikara Street, Velipattinam Ramanathapuram.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents.

3. The case of the petitioner is that inspite of repeated representations given to the respondents to effect electricity connection to the property being owned by him, his request has not https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

been adhered to positively. The said submission is stoutly refuted by the learned counsel for the respondents contending that no such request has been received from the petitioner.

4. Under such circumstances, the petitioner is directed to submit necessary application/representation along with a copy of this order to the respondents within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and on such representation being received, the same shall be considered and appropriate orders be passed thereon within a period of four weeks thereafter after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner.

5. With the above direction, this petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
