ORDER

The petitioner got married to the respondent on 29.05.2013 as per the Christian Rites and Customs. The marital relationship between the parties appears to have come under strain. The respondent filed D.O.P.No.87 of 2018 before the District Court, Viluppuram for divorce. The petitioner is based in Ilayangudi. Therefore, it will be difficult for the petitioner to go to Viluppuram and contest the proceedings there.

Considering the fact that the petitioner is a poor woman, in the interest of justice, D.O.P.No.87 of 2018 is withdrawn from the District Court, Viluppuram, and transferred to the District Court, Sivagangai. The District Judge, Sivagangai, shall send fresh notice to the respondent recording the next date of hearing. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. Accordingly, this Transfer Civil Miscellaneous Petition is allowed. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
