ORDER

This criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to expedite the investigation in Crime No.210 of 2020, dated 05.05.2020 and file a final report.

2.The learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is the defacto complainant and he is working as a sales representative in Syed Beedi Company. On 05.05.2020, the petitioner and his company staffs found that totally 1,77,800 duplicate syed beedi were transported to Theni District. Hence the complaint. But, till now no steps has been taken. Therefore, this petition has been filed. 3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that based on the complaint lodged by the petitioner, the respondent police registered an FIR in Crime No. 210 of 2020 and for the same, investigation is in progress. Hence, he seeks one month time to file final report before the jurisdictional Magistrate Court.

4.Recording the same, the respondent police is directed to file final report before the jurisdictional Magistrate Court, within a period of one month, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.With the above direction, this criminal original petition stands disposed of.
