ORDER

The prayer in this writ petition is for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to pay the petitioner difference / arrears of wages for the period from 01.05.10 to 30.06.11, based on the scales of pay as re-fixed and as mentioned in his service register and to pay him arrears of gratuity and leave salary based on such re-fixed wages payable to him on the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

month of his retirement, together with 18% interest per annum, and further directing the respondents to revise his pension from 01.07.11, based on such re-fixed wages payable to him on the month of his retirement and to pay him arrears of the same for the period from 01.07.11, together with 18% interest per annum, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2.The petitioner was employed as Checking Inspector in the respondent transport corporation. He retired from service on 30.06.2011. He has made a representation dated 25.11.2016, to the respondents, seeking the abovesaid prayer. As the said representation is not yet disposed of, the petitioner has come forward with this writ petition.

2.Learned counsels for the respondents submitted that the respondents would dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 25.11.2016 within a time frame.

3.Recording the above submissions, this Writ Petition is disposed of directing the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 25.11.2016 and to pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
