ORDER
******** The prayer in the Writ Petition is to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 13.07.2017 and pass orders. 2.According to the petitioner, he is one of the Executive Members of the Peraiyur Maravar Pothu Uravinmurai, which has been functioning for more than hundred years for the welfare of the people belonging to Maravar Community. The petitioner would further state that there were twelve Executive Committee Members and each member will be in the administration of office for one month and the Uravinmurai is having lots of immovable properties. Out of twelve members, three have died and in the conduct of election, there was a rift between two groups. In this regard, a criminal case was also registered on 09.05.2017. Maravar Pothu Uravinmurai. Hence, the petitioner gave objections to the first respondent on 06.07.2017 and 13.07.2017. Since there is no reply, the present Writ Petition has been filed. 2.Heard Mr.R.Govindaraj, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.G.Muthukannan, learned Government Advocate appearing for the first respondent.
3. By consent of both parties, the main Writ Petition itself is taken up for disposal.
4. Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for by the petitioner, without going into the merits of the case, this Court directs the first respondent to consider the representations / objections of the Petitioner, dated 06.07.2017 and 13.07.2017, on merits and in accordance with law and pass orders on the same, after providing opportunity to the necessary parties, if any, as expeditiously as possible.
6.With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
