Prayer :- This Criminal Originalpetiion filed underSection 482 of the Cr.P.C.,to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Srivilliputhur to dispose of the case in S.T.C.No.949 of 2016 within a time frame that may be fixed by this court. ORDER:- This Criminal Original Petition coming on for orders on this day and upon perusing the earlier order of this court dated 09/08/2021 ,and direct the court below to dispose the of the case in S.T.C.No.949 of 2016 within a period of 5(five)months and the requisition letter dated 29/07/2022 in D.No.760 of 2022,submitted by the Judicial Magistrate No.II, Srivilliputhur, this court made the following order;- This petition has been listed today under the caption 'for extension of time' to dispose of the case in S.T.C.No.949 of 2016.

2. This Court has already allowed the Criminal Original Petition, by the order, dated 09.08.2021 and directed the Court below to dispose of the case in S.T.C.No.949 of 2016, within a period of five months from the date of receipt of a copy of the order. Now, the Court below requests further time of one month to dispose of the said case.

3. Being satisfied with the reasons stated in the letter dated 29.07.2022, this Court is inclined to grant further time and https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis 1/2

CRL OP(MD). No.10873 of 2021 accordingly, one month time is granted from the date of receipt of a copy of this order for disposing the case in S.T.C.No.949 of 2016 and it is made clear that no further time will be granted by this Court, since the matter is of the year 2016.
