By consent of both sides, this writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

2.The petitioner, who is a Driver of the respondent Corporation, after completion of more than 22 years of service, retired from service with effect from 30.06.2015 on attaining the age of superannuation. Subsequently, the petitioner has been paid with retirement benefits. But for the period commencing from July 2015 to October 2015, he has not been paid with pension. In this connection, the petitioner has also given a representation dated 02.06.2017. However, the said representation has not been considered and therefore, the petitioner is before this Court with the present writ petition.

respondent. Mr.A.P.Muthu Pandian, Standing Counsel, takes notice for the second respondent. The learned counsel appearing for the respondents, on instructions, sought time to consider the petitioner's representation.

4.Recording the said submission, the second respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 02.06.2017 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

5.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
