O R D E R

*********** [Order of the Court was made by K.K.SASIDHARAN, J.] The petitioner filed this writ petition to restrain the respondents from establishing wineshop near the "Girivalam" pathway of Sri Arulmigu Prasanna Venkatachalapathy Temple situated at Perumalmalai Foothill, Thuraiyur Taluk, Thiruchirappalli.

2. The action taken by TASMAC, locating a liquor shop near the Girivalam pathway of Sri Arulmigu Prasanna Venkatachalapathy temple made the petitioner to file this writ petition.

3. The learned counsel appearing for TASMAC, on the strength of the instructions given by the District Manager, TASMAC, dated 28.08.2017 submitted that a decision was taken not to open the shop at the location selected earlier, which is near to the Grivalam pathway. In short, TASMAC has taken a decision not to open the wineshop near the Girivalam pathway of Sri Arulmigu Prasanna Venkatachalapathy Temple at Perumalmalai Foothill, Thuraiyur Taluk.

4. In view of the submission made on behalf of TASMAC nothing survives for adjudication in this writ petition. 5.The Writ Petition is disposed of with the above observation. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No Costs.
