PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 528 of BNSS Act, 2023, To call for the records pertaining to the impugned FIR in Crime No. 6/2024 dated 08.01.2024 on the file of the 1st Respondent Police and to Quash the same as illegal insofar as the petitioners are concerned and pass such further order or other orders.

ORDER

The present petition has been filed by the Accused Nos.1 and 10 in Crime No.6 of 2024 on the file of the first respondent police seeking to quash the FIR in Crime No.6 of 2024, wherein, the petitioners are alleged to have committed offences punishable under Sections 341 & 143 of IPC.

2. According to the learned Government Advocate appearing for the first respondent, an action-dropped report was submitted before the Judicial Magistrate No. II, Usilampatti, on 04.03.2025; therefore, no further course of action is contemplated in the said crime number.
