O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed seeking to direct the respondent to grant promotion to the petitioner as Superintendent with effect from December 1997 and further promotion as Assistant Registrar with effect from December 2002 and to grant all service and monitory benefits therefrom by considering the representation of the petitioner dated 06.05.2016.

2.According to the petitioner, as his representation dated 06.05.2016, seeking for promotion as Superintendent with effect from December 1997 and as Assistant Registrar with effect from December 2002, is kept pending before the respondent for a quite long time. Having no other option, the petitioner has come before this Court, praying for appropriate orders to the respondent. 3.Considering the limited scope of the relief sought for by the petitioner in this writ petition, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 06.05.2016, on merits and in https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

accordance with law and pass necessary orders, after affording opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
