O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed for the issue of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to decide the appeal filed by the petitioner dated 24.03.2021 within a specified time limit.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents.

3. By consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

4. The case of the writ petitioner is that the second respondent has passed an order on 22.02.2021, punishing him with https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P.(MD).No.14192 of 2021 dismissal from service. Challenging the said order, the aforesaid appeal dated 24.03.2021 has been filed by the petitioner and the same is pending.

5. Without going into the merits of the case, this Court is inclined to direct the first respondent to consider the appeal dated 24.03.2021 on its own merits and in accordance with law and pass orders as expeditiously as possible within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No order as to costs.
