PRAYER:

Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent herein to consider and pass appropriate orders on the appeal petition submitted by the petitioner dated 20.02.2017 within a stipulated time period as that may be fixed by this Court.

O R D E R

The prayer sought for in this writ petition is for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to consider and pass appropriate orders on the appeal petition submitted by the petitioner dated 20.02.2017 2.Mr.G.Muthukannan, learned Government Advocate takes notice on behalf of the respondents. By consent, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 3.The case of the petitioner is that he along with his father and brother, purchased the land to an extent of 40 cents in S.No.55/1 situated at Sathamangalam Village, Thayamangalam Group, Ilayankudi Taluk, through a registered sale deed dated 15.04.2002. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4.The petitioner would state that the second respondent, while making sub-division, has made wrong entries and aggrieved over the order, the petitioner preferred an appeal before the first respondent. It is further stated that the first respondent has already conducted enquiry and required documents were produced by the petitioner before the first respondent. But no order has been passed so far. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed. 5.Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for by the petitioner, this Court, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, directs the first respondent to dispose of the appeal petition of the petitioner dated 20.02.2017, and pass appropriate orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, after providing opportunity to all necessary parties, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6.With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
