Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court directing the first respondent i.e, the Principal Secretary to Government , Revenue Department , Secretariat, Chennai to sanction pension to the petitioners late husband counting 50 percent of services put in by him as Thalayari for the period from 17/08/1964 to 31/05/1995 and counting full services put in by him as Village Assistant for the period from 01/06/1995 to 30/06/2004 and also sanction family pension to the petitioner based on the pension to be fixed for her late husband M.Karuppan For Petitioner : Mr.S.Visvalingam For Respondent : Mr.N.Sathesh Kumar, Additional Government Pleader.

The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondent made a submission that against the order passed in the writ petition, State prepared W.A.(MD)No.199 of 2021 before the Hon'ble Division Bench. After reaching of finality with reference to the disputed issues, the petitioner is at liberty to pursue the matter.
