This writ petition has been filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 21.01.2017, seeking extension of licence period for a further period of two months, which was granted by the second respondent in Na.Ka.No.535/2016/A2 dated 21.11.2016, for collecting the parking fees from vehicles at Kanyakumari sunset point.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing on all sides.

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, i.e., 31.07.2017, it has been reported by the learned counsel on either side that the prayer sought for in this petition has become infructuous.

4. Recording the same, this writ petition is dismissed as having become infructuous. No costs.
