Order : This petition coming up for orders on this day, upon perusing the petition filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.LENIN KUMAR.T, Advocate for the petitioner and of MR.K.SANJAI GANDHI, Government Advocate (Crl.side) on behalf of the Respondents the court made the following order:- This petition has been filed to modify the condition directing the petitioner to pay a sum of Rs.75,000/- to the credit of Government of Tamil Nadu, CMPRF in IOB, Secretariat Branch, Chennai, as ordered by this Court in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.10883 of 2022 dated 17.06.2022.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the value of the rice smuggled is Rs.45,250/- only. 3.The above submission is admitted by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent police. 4.Considering the above, this Court is inclined to modify the condition and the petitioner is directed to pay a sum of Rs.50,000/- (Rupees Fifty Thousand only) to the credit of Government of Tamil Nadu, CMPRF in IOB, Secretariat Branch, Chennai-9 (Account No.11720 10000 00070) IFSC Code:IOBA0001172), and time is extended by two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. sd/- 01/07/2022 / TRUE COPY / /07/2022 Sub-Assistant Registrar (C.S.)
