By consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself. 2.This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 14.09.2020 seeking to grant family pension to her.

3.Mr.U.Antony Santhosh, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner's son passed away on 23.10.2018, when he was working as Intermediate Teacher in a Government School in Kodaikanal Perumalamalai for about 15 years. The petitioner is the mother of the deceased son and she is entitled for the family 1/3

pension along with her daughter-in-law. Hence, the petitioner has given a representation for family pension on 15.10.2019. Subsequently, the fourth respondent in his proceedings in Na.ka.No.65A1/2020 dated 18.02.2020, directed the petitioner to produce necessary documents. As directed by the fourth respondent, on 05.08.2020 the petitioner submitted all the required documents in person. However, there is no response from the fourth respondent. Therefore, the petitioner made one more representation on 14.09.2020. In the said representation also, no order has been passed to release the family pension.

4.Mr.N.Shanmugaselvan, learned Additional Government Pleader fairly submits that the petitioner's representation dated 14.09.2020 will be disposed of within a period of four weeks on merits and in accordance with law.

5.In view of the submission made by the learned counsel appearing on either side, this Court directs the fourth respondent to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 14.09.2020 within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order on merits and in accordance with law. 6.With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
