ORDER
This petition is filed seeking for a direction to the second respondent not to harass the petitioner in a civil dispute between the petitioner and the third respondent and the brothers of the petitioner.
2. It is submitted by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner that the third respondent has executed a registered Gift Settlement Deed in favour of the petitioner on 15.07.2016 in respect of the properties belonging to the third respondent. Subsequently, at the instigation of her brothers and sisters, the third respondent filed a complaint against the petitioner, and the petitioner filed a suit in O.S.No.51 of 2023 on the file of the District Munsif Court, Ramanathapuram and the same is pending.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the third respondent submits that the petitioner has taken the third respondent to Sub Registrar Office by falsely telling her that he wants a surety to avail Bank Loan and got the Gift Settlement Deed executed. On realizing the same, the third respondent has given a complaint 2/5
before various forums, and that the petitioner has been harassing his brothers as well.
4. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) submits that the complaint given by the third respondent was referred to DCB, Ramanathapuram, and they are considering the representation given by the third respondent and within a period of two weeks, enquiry would be conducted.
5. Considering the above, the criminal original petition is disposed of with a direction to the DCB, Ramanathapuram to complete the enquiry, in respect of complaint, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
