Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 20.08.2018 to grant permission to conduct the "MahaKumbabishekam" as well as other programmes and also to conduct the "Aadal Padal" on 26.08.2018 at about 06.00.pm., to 11.00p.m., in the temple namely "Sri Unchan Pappathi Amman Kovil" at Periyakkurukkai Village, Lalkudi Taluk, Trichy District.

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for a direction to the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 20.08.2018 to conduct the "MahaKumbabishekam" and to conduct the Adal Padal on 26.08.2018. This Court has consistently taken the view that a writ petition cannot be directly filed before this Court for a permission for Aadal Padal and all the writ petitions in that regard has been dismissed.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the second respondent may be directed to provide police protection for conducting "MahaKumbabishekam" only on 26.08.2018. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. The petitioner is directed to give a representation to the second respondent and the second respondent shall consider the same and grant necessary police protection and the second respondent is at liberty to impose any conditions, which the petitioner is bound to comply with.

4.This Writ Petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
