ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 498(A) and 506(i) and 109 IPC and Section 4 of Tamil Nadu Harassments of Women Act, in Crime No.16 of 2022 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.
2.The case of the prosecution is that the defacto complainant and the petitioner are the husband and wife. The petitioner had developed illicit intimacy with one Thenmozhi. Due to which, he harassed and tortured the defacto complainant. Hence, the complaint. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is innocent person and he has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution. CRL OP(MD). No.9268 of 2023 4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) would submit that the petitioner had developed illicit intimacy with one Thenmozhi.
