O R D E R

This Contempt petition has been filed that the order of this Court in WP(MD) No. 23711 of 2023, dated 29.09.2023 has not been complied with intentionally.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that this Court has issued a direction to the respondent Tahsildar to conduct a survey in S.No.210/1A, Kalappanpatti Village, Peraiyur Taluk, Madurai District, within a period of six weeks. According to the petitioner, the survey has not been conducted as directed by by this Court.

3.Mr.P.T.Thiraviam, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondent and submits that there are some disputes between the petitioner and one Perumal with regard to the subject property and the said Perumal has filed a suit as against this petitioner before the District Munsif Court in O.S.No.15 of 2024, based on which, he has objected the officials to survey the land as 2/5

directed by this Court. Since there is an objection from the said Perumal, the Department has obtained necessary police protection from the concerned police, conducted the survey on 26.03.2024, identified the boundaries in the presence of this petitioner and the same was acknowledged by the petitioner. Copy of the acknowledgment given by the petitioner is furnished to the petitioner's counsel. A copy of the proceedings in Na.Ka.No. 314/2024/S, dated 21.03.2025 of the Tahsildar, Peraiyur to that effect is also placed before this Court.

4.Considering the submissions made by the learned Government Advocate and the scope of this contempt petition and also recording the proceeding of the Tahsildar in Na.Ka.No. 314/2024/S, dated 21.03.2025, this contempt petition is closed. Connected Sub Application is also closed.
