O R D E R

Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2. The subject matter pertains to the conduct of the petition mentioned festival. It appears that there is a difference of opinion between the petitioner on the one hand and the private respondents on the other. The writ petitioner represents Alathimanai Village. The private respondents represent Nallikudi Village.

3. I do not want to enter into the merits of the rival claims. In order to arrive at an amicable solution for conducting of the festival for this year, the following directions are issued:- 2/4

3 W.P.(MD)NO.13468 OF 2022 a) The writ petitioner representing Alathimanai Village is permitted to hold the festival for the petition mentioned temple on 02.07.2022.

b) Respondents 3 and 4 representing Nallikudi Village are permitted to celebrate the festival on 05.07.2022.

c) The second respondent shall ensure that appropriate arrangements are made to ensure the smooth conduct of the event.

4. This writ petition stands disposed of. No costs. 30.06.2022 Index : Yes / No Internet : Yes/ No PMU Note : Issue order copy on 01.07.2022.
