ORDER
Heard the learned counsel for the writ petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader for the first respondent. Considering the nature of relief to be granted, issuance of notice to the respondents 2 and 3 is dispensed with. 2.The petitioner purchased the subject property from one Bose. Patta stood in his name. The petitioner applied for mutation of patta in his favour. This was objected by the respondents 2 and 3. When the petitioner moved the Tahisldar for mutation of patta in his favour, it was dismissed by citing the objections raised by the respondents 2 and 3. Aggrieved by the same, the petitioner has filed an appeal before the first respondent. All that the petitioner seeks is only a speedy disposal of the said appeal. 3.No exception can be taken to the said request. The first respondent is directed to dispose of the petition mentioned appeal on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. W.P(MD)No.13476 of 2022 respondent will have to necessarily put the respondents 2 and 3 on notice before passing final order. I make it clear that I have not gone into merits of the matter. It is open to the first respondent to pass order one way or the other. The only direction that has now given is that the first respondent should dispose of the petition mentioned appeal within the stipulated time frame. 4.The writ petition is disposed of accordingly.
