PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 19.06.2014 i.e to measure the petitioner land in S.No.61/2A2A which is situated at Ladanendal village, Thirupuvanam Taluk, Sivagangai District.

ORDER
The petitioner has come up with this Writ Petition for a direction to the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 19.06.2014 and to measure the petitioner's land in S.No.61/2A2A, which is situated at Ladanendal Village, Thirupuvanam Taluk, Sivagangai District.
2.Heard Mr.R.Rajesh, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.A.MuthuKaruppan, learned Additional Government pleader, appearing for the respondents. By consent, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
3.The Petitioner would state that he purchased 40 cents of lands in Survey No.61/2A2A by a registered sale deed, dated 29.04.2013. The first respondent had issued a Patta in favour of his vendor namely, Ganga Devi in Patta No.903. After purchase, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
the petitioner submitted an application to the first respondent, after paying necessary fees, to issue Patta in his favour and also requested him to measure the property. Since it was not considered, the present writ petition has been filed. 4.Mr.A.MuthuKaruppan, learned Additional Government pleader would submit that the petitioner submitted the application to the respondents for measurement of his property in the year 2014 and if fresh application is given, the first respondent is ready to consider the same.
5.In the light of the above submission ,the petitioner is directed to give a fresh representation to the first respondent, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On such compliance, the first respondent is directed to consider the same and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after providing opportunity to all necessary parties, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of eight weeks therefrom.
6.With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
