Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to grant permission and to provide adequate police protection for conducting the village level Kabadi Tournament organized by village people on 04.02.2017 at evening conducted by Kannattangudi Village, Puthupattinam Post, Ramanathapuram District based on the petitioner's representation dated 24.01.2017 submitted before the respondents. For Petitioner : Mr.P.Kannathasan For Respondents : Mr.D.Muruganandam, Additional Government Pleader.

ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by A.SELVAM, J.] This writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to direct the respondents to give necessary permission for conducting Kabadi Tournament on 04.02.2017 in the place mentioned in the petition, by way of issuing a writ of mandamus.

2.Mr.D.Muruganandam, learned Additional Government Pleader, has taken notice for the respondents.

4.Considering the aforesaid factual circumstances, the following order can be passed.

5.In fine, this writ petition is allowed in part without costs and the second respondent viz., Inspector of Police, Thiruppallaikudi Police Station, Ramanathapuram District is directed to look into the representation dated 24.01.2017 and dispose of the same within a period of two days.
