To 5.00 A.M (27.07.2017) on the basis petitioner's representation dated 13.07.2017 and to give necessary police protection to the said Drama. O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 3rd respondent to grant permission to conduct "Ancient Drama - Sri.Valli Thirumanam" at the time of festival of Srikongunatta Kaliamman Temple situated at Anumanthakudi Village, Devakottai Taluk, Sivagangai District on 26.07.2017 at about 10.00 P.M. To 5.00 A.M (27.07.2017) on the basis petitioner's representation dated 13.07.2017 and to give necessary police protection to the said Drama. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and

the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent.

3.When the matter came up before this Court, this Court was inclined to observe that the parties can be given permission to conduct the ancient drama or any other programme only if there is consensus of all the parties concerned. It was pursuant to the suggestion of this Court, it was stated that the parties have agreed upon certain terms and there is consensus for conducting the programme, in terms of the compromise arrived at between the parties. In the said circumstances, this Court is inclined to pass following order:

The third respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 13.07.2017 in the light of the compromise that is said to have been arrived at between the parties before the Mediation and Conciliation Centre. Since the agreement entered into between the parties before the Mediation known as mediation agreement which is enforceable in law, this Court direct the third respondent to strictly adhere to the terms of the agreement so as to ensure that there is no breach or grievance by any of the parties to the compromise.

4. With the above observations, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
