This writ petition has been filed for issuance of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records of the first respondent proceedings in C.No.214/61010/V2/2018 dated 26.10.2018 and quash the same as illegal and consequently directing the first respondent to grant temporary Crackers selling License to the petitioner's shop situated at Door No.35, Gurusamy Thevar Compound, New Jail Road, Muttrampadri, Madurai - 16, on the basis of his application dated 01.10.2018.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner represented today before this Court that the prayer of the petitioner has become infructuous, since Diwali is over.

3. In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected W.M.P.(MD) No.20371 of 2018 is also dismissed.
