The Criminal Original Petition filed to call for the records relating to the impugned proceedings initiated by the 1st respondent vide M.C.No.30 / 2023 dated 28.04.2023 and quash the same as illegal so far as the petitioner is concerned.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that because of the difference of opinion between two groups of Jamaath members, the proceedings have been initiated. Now the matter has been settled by the respondent. The said Jamaath Administration has been taken over by the District Collector, Kanniyakumari.

3. The said statement of the petitioner was also admitted by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side). In view of the developments, nothing survives for further adjudication in this case and the matter has become infructuous.
