By consent of both the parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

2.The limited prayer sought for in the present writ petition is for a direction to the first respondent to conduct enquiry and dispose off the Disciplinary Proceedings initiated against the petitioner in TDP No.4 of 2002. 3.Since the Disciplinary Proceedings is still pending and the criminal case against the petitioner was ended in acquittal, it would be appropriate to direct the first respondent to conduct enquiry and dispose of it expeditiously, within a stipulated time.

4.In view of the above observations, there shall be a direction to the first respondent to conduct enquiry and dispose off the Disciplinary Proceedings initiated against the petitioner in TDP No.4 of 2002, as expeditiously as 2/4

possible, in any event, within a period of three (3) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
