Respondent to conduct re-investigation in Crime No.253/2019 on the file of the 3rd Respondent in an expeditious manner and consequently direct them to file the final report before the Jurisdictional Magistrate within the stipulated period as prescribed by this Court.
ORDER:- This Petition coming on for orders on this day and upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Thiru.T.Lajapathi Roy, Senior Counsel for Thiru. R.L.Diliphan Pandian,Advocate for the Petitioner and of Mrs.M.Aasha, Government Advocate,for the respondents, this Court made the following order:
The learned Senior Counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner would submit that by an order, dated 26.04.2022 in Crl.O.P(MD).No.4570 of 2022, which was passed after the charge sheet filed in C.C.No.1 of 2021, this Court has specifically directed the 2nd respondent viz., Deputy Superintendent of Police to conduct further investigation and file a final report in this matter. So far, the same has not been done.
2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor is not in a position to answer the same.
3. In view thereof, let the second respondent be present before this Court on 29.08.2024 to answer the same.
