ORDER
The petitioner seeks a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to cancel the patta No.5415 issued in favour of the respondents 3 to 14 in respect of the lands comprised in Old Survey No.521/12B, New Survey No.521/12B1, by considering her representation dated 09.04.2024. 2.Heard the arguments of the learned counsel appearing for the
petitioner and M/s.K.Malathi, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 and 2. By consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 3.It is case of the petitioner that she purchased 1 acre 55 cents of land comprised in survey No.521/12A in Akilandapuram Village, Kayatharu Taluk. One Velusamy purchased 20 cents of land in Survey No.521/12B1. However, the respondents 3 to 14, who are claiming rights under the said Velusamy, got patta for the petitioner's property also in their favour. Therefore, the petitioner submitted a representation to the Chief Minister's Special Cell with a copy marked to the respondent 1 and 2 seeking cancellation of patta issued in the names of the respondents 3 to 14. The said representation has not been considered.
Hence, the petitioner has come before this Court. 4.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 would submit that the representation of the petitioner dated 09.04.2025 will be disposed of on its own merits within the time fixed by this Court.
5.In view of same, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, the first respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 09.04.2025 and dispose it of on its own merits within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after issuing necessary notice to the petitioner and the respondents 3 to 14. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
