The Civil Miscellaneous Petition has been filed seeking an order for substituted service of notice on the 4th respondent herein (divorced wife of the deceased 1st respondent) by way of paper publication in one issue of a local Tamil daily newspaper having circulation in Melur Taluk, Madurai.

2. Heard the learned Government Advocate (Civil Side) appearing for the petitioner and also perused the records.

3. Considering the reasons stated in the affidavit filed in support of this petition, this petition is allowed and the petitioner is permitted to effect substituted service for the fourth respondent by paper publication in Tamil Daily viz., Malai Malar, in Madurai , indicating the date of hearing as 08.06.2026. The publication shall be effected on or before 12.06.2026.

4. Post the matter on 08.06.2026.
