ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition is filed seeking a direction to direct the respondents to provide police protection for the life and limb of the petitioner, based on his complaint, dated 05.07.2021.

2.When the matter was taken up for hearing on 06.08.2021, the learned learned Additional Public Prosecutor has submitted that based upon the representation made by the petitioner, enquiry was undertaken in CSR.No.468 of 2021. But, the petitioner did not appear before the Enquiry Officer. On that basis, the petitioner was directed to appear before the Enquiry Officer and co-operate with the enquiry.

3.When the matter taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that based upon the representation made by the petitioner, enquiry was undertaken and during the course of enquiry, the petitioner has given a statement to the effect that he will take arrangement to put up CCTV Camera in his premises. So, the second respondent also given an undertaking to the effect that they will visit the house of the petitioner for verifying whether he put up CCTV Camera in his https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

Crl.O.P.(MD)No.10862 of 2021 premises or not. On that basis, representation given by the petitioner, came to be closed.

4. Since the undertaking has been given by the second respondent, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of by recording the undertaking given by the petitioner and the second respondent.

5. But, however, if any untoward incident taken place in future, the second respondent must act upon the complaint, given by the petitioner immediately.
