RESPONDENT/RESPONDENT Petition filed praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the petition filed therewith the High Court may be pleased to relax the condition totally imposed by this Honble Court in Crl.MP (MD)No.6065/2022 in Crl.A(MD)No.348/2022 dt. On 19/5/2022. Prayer in CRL A(MD). 348/ 2022 :

To call for records and set aside the judgment made in Special C.C.No.12 of 2014 on the file of the Special Court for Trail of cases under Prevention of Corruption Act cum Chief Judicial Magistrate, Karur dated 29.04.2022 convicting the appellant for offences under Section 7 of the prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 and sentence to undergo three years rigorous imprisonment and Rs.10,000/- fine in default one year rigorous imprisonment and Sections 13(2) r/w 13(1)(d) of Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 and Sentence to undergo three years rigorous imprisonment and Rs.10,000/- fine in default one year rigorous imprisonment and allow the Criminal Appeal.

Order : This petition coming up for orders on this day, upon perusing the petition filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.GOKULRAJ S, Advocate for the petitioner and of MR.SS.MADHAVAN, Government Advocate (Crl.Side) on behalf of the Respondent, the court made the following order:- This petition has been filed to relax the condition imposed on the petitioner in Crl.M.P(MD).No.6065 of 2022 in Crl.A(MD)No.348 of 2022 dated 19.05.2022.

CRL MP(MD) No.7627 of 2023 2.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has been complying with the condition imposed by this court regularly.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that the petitioner has been complying with the condition regularly. 4.Considering the nature of offence, the condition imposed by this court in Crl.M.P(MD).No.6065 of 2022 in Crl.A(MD)No.348 of 2022 dated 19.05.2022 is modified and the petitioner shall report before the trial Court once in a month i.e on the 1st working day of every English calendar month at 10.30 a.m until further orders. sd/- 18/05/2023 / TRUE COPY / /05/2023 Sub-Assistant Registrar (C.S.)
