ORDER
This Writ Petition is filed seeking a direction to the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 12.06.2017 for grant of patta to the petitioner's land situated at Kovilpatti Panchayat union, Ettayapuram subri Valampatti village Natham S.No.78, New Natham S.No.203/3, ward 3, totally admeasuring extent of vacant land 2617.50 sq.ft (243.26 sq.mtr), out of which land, vacant land 5580 sq.ft (518.59 sq.mtr) and boundaries of North; Krishnasamy Kottaram, South;-way of east west East;- Petchiammal House, West;- vacant land of Kalairamar by way of gift on same day.

By consent, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 3.The petitioner would claim that the land to an extent of 2617.50 sq.ft was settled by his father through a registered document on 09.01.2017 and thereby, he became absolute owner of the property. Thereafter, the petitioner applied for issuance of patta in favour of the petitioner and also submitted representations on 12.06.2017 and 22.06.2017. Since no order has been passed, the present writ petition has been filed.
4.Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for by the petitioner, this Court, without going into the merits of the matter, directs the second respondent to consider the representation, dated 12.06.2017 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, after providing opportunity to all necessary parties, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5.With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
