By consent of both sides, this writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Additional Government Pleader, who takes notice for the respondents.

3. The petitioners have come to this Court seeking a Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to pass orders on their

objections by way of representations dated 13.03.2017 and 28.06.2017 to the proceedings issued by the second respondent in Na.Ka.No.V3/1541/2017 dated 07.02.2017 within a specified time limit.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that when objections were called for by the second respondent to the tentative seniority list, the petitioners, immediately, submitted their detailed objections in the form of representations. The receipt of the objections has also been admitted in the subsequent proceedings dated 10.04.2017 and 25.04.2017. Therefore, when the second respondent has admitted the receipt of the objections filed by the petitioners, till date, without passing any final order, they cannot give any temporary promotion, thereby, depriving their promotions. 5.The learned Additional Government Pleader, on instructions, sought time to consider the petitioners' representations/objections. 6.Recording his statement, the second respondent is directed to consider the objections of the petitioners dated 13.03.2017 and 28.06.2017 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
