ORDER
The prayer in this writ petition is for issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records pertaining to impugned order passed by the respondent in not selecting the petitioner under Sports Quota for further recruitment process in the common recruitment to the post of Grade - II Police Constable, Grade - II Jail Warder and Firemen - 2017, since he has failed to enclose Form-II Certificate meant for Sports Quota, to quash the same and to further direct the respondent to permit the petitioner to participate in the physical fitness test and other recruitment process in the common recruitment to the abovesaid posts. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
2.The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent submitted that since this Court keeping in mind the fact that the petitioner is a sports candidate and also his participation in the 41st Junior National Kabadi Championship held in the month of December 2014 at Kerala, directed the respondent to consider his case under Sports Quota, the petitioner was permitted to take part in the selection process, in spite of his failure to enclose Form-II Certificate along with his application. However, while he took part in the rope climbing test on 05.08.2017, he failed, therefore, the present writ petition has become infructuous. Secondly, the petitioner has not challenged the disqualification slip issued to him.
3.In view of the abovesaid submission, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
