ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/A7, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offence punishable under Sections 147, 148, 149, 294(b), 323, 324, 342, 365, 302 and 506(ii) IPC in Crime No.03 of 2021 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that there existed business dispute, the petitioner and other accused attacked the de-facto complainant's husband Haneesh Mohammed and caused death. Hence, the complaint.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is innocent and he has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution. He would further submit that A1 to A4, A6 and A7 were already arrested and released on bail. https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis 1/2

No.11652 of 2022 4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that this is the petitioner's third anticipatory bail application and the earlier applications were dismissed as withdrawn by this Court in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.17341 of 2021 and 4857 of 2022, dated 10.11.2021 and 15.03.2022. He would further submit that the investigation is pending.

5.Considering the seriousness and gravity of the offence alleged and also the fact that the investigation is pending as stated by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this point of time. 6.In the result, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. sd/- 30/06/2022 / TRUE COPY / /07/2022 Sub-Assistant Registrar (C.S.)
