[Order of the Court was made by P.N.PRAKASH, J.] Mr.D.Immanuel Rajkumar, Inspector of Police, Chinnamanur Police Station, Theni District, is present.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that her husband Gurusamy, aged about 68 years, went missing from 19.08.2018 and hence, this habeas corpus petition has been filed.

3. The respondent - Police have filed a status report, dated 06.02.2019, wherein it is stated that on the complaint lodged by the petitioner, a case in Highways Police Station Crime No.110 of 2018 has been registered for man missing and the investigation is in https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

progress. In the status report, the steps that are being taken by the respondent - Police to trace the husband of the petitioner have been detailed.

4. In view of the above, the habeas corpus petition is closed with a direction to the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Bodinayakkanur Circle, to monitor the investigation that is being conducted by the Inspector of Police, Highways Police Station in Crime No.110 of 2018 and to keep the petitioner informed of the progress of the investigation from time to time.
