Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of mandamus directing the 1st respondent to consider petitioners representation dated 02.11.2016 to correct the entries in Patta No.2115 for lands in S.No. 289/8, Perakambi Village, Manachanallur Taluk, Trichy.

O R D E R

The petitioner seeks for a Mandamus directing the first respondentto consider his representation, dated 02.11.2016, wherein and whereby he sought for certain corrections to be made in the entries in patta No.2115 in respect of lands in S.No. 289/8 at Perakambi Village, Manachanallur Taluk, Trichy. 2.According to the petitioner, the entries made in the said patta have to be corrected pursuant to the death of his mother. 3.This Court, at this stage, is not expressing any view on the claim made by the petitioner, as it is for the first respondent to consider and decide on merits. Therefore, this writ petition is disposed of only with a direction to the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 02.11.2016 and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, after giving due opportunity of hearing to the second respondent as well as any other interested persons. Such exercise shall be done by the first respondent within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
