*********** [Order of the Court was made by R.VIJAYAKUMAR, J.] It is the case of the petitioner that her daughter Subasanthoshi aged about 19 years went missing from 25.04.2022 and that the police are not taking effective steps to secure her. Hence, the petitioner has filed the present Habeas Corpus Petition with the above prayer.
2.Heard Mr.S.Sethu Mahendran, learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.T.Senthil Kumar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.
3.Today, Mr.M.Madasamy [Mobile No.9498158310] Grade-I 2840, Thiruverambur Police Station, Trichy District, is present before this Court.

4.On instructions, learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that on the complaint given by the petitioner, a case in Thiruverambur Police Station, Trichy District in Crime No.152 of 2022 has been registered on 28.04.2022 for 'woman missing'. During the course of investigation, it came to light that Subasanthoshi was in love with one Santhosh, had eloped with him and got married to him. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor also submitted that it is an inter-caste marriage and produced copies of the photographs of Subasanthoshi with Santhosh. 5.In such view of the matter, it cannot be stated that Subasanthoshi is in the illegal custody of the respondents for the issuance of a Writ of Habeas Corpus.
