ORDER
By consent of both sides, this writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.
2.The petitioner, having served as Sector Health Nurse under the control of the Block Medical Officer, Government Primary Health Centre, Vadakkankulam, Tirunelveli District, on attaining the age of superannuation, on 30.04.2017, was allowed to retire from service by order dated 10.08.2012.
3. A perusal of the order permitting the petitioner to retire from service does not show that she was facing any departmental proceedings or currency of punishment. Therefore, the petitioner https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
is entitled to get retirement benefits without any more delay and hence, she has given a representation to the respondents. However the said representation dated 12.05.2017 has not been disposed of till date. Therefore, the petitioner is before this Court with this writ petition. Since the petitioner is waiting for disbursement of retirement benefits and other benefits like, sanction of increments, fixation of selection grade, payment of allowance for the suspension period, etc. her representation deserves to be disposed of, at the earlier point of time. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court with the present writ petition.
4. Mr.K.Guru, learned Additional Government Pleader, takes notice for the respondents and sought four weeks time to consider the petitioner's representation.
5. Placing on record the submission of the learned Additional Government Pleader, the first respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation and disburse the retirement benefits within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
6. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
