property situate at Kacheripudutheru, Palani Town, in Town Survey No.76, based on the petitioner's representation, dated 05.02.2025. For Petitioner :

ORDER
The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondents to issue patta in the names of the surviving legal heirs of the deceased Parvathiammal and Manoharan in respect of the property situate in Survey No.326 comprised in Patta No.606 in Palani Village and Taluk to an extent of Hec. 1.18.00 and the house property situate at Kacheripudutheru Palani Town in Town Survey No.76, by considering his representation, dated 05.02.2025.
2. According to the petitioner, the subject property originally belonged to Parvathiammal. After her death, revenue records were mutated only in the names of male legal heirs of Parvathiammal, namely, her sons. Aggrieved by the same, the petitioner, being one of the daughters of Parvathiammal, submitted a representation before the third respondent, seeking inclusion of names of all the legal heirs of Parvathiammal in the revenue records.

Since already the revenue records are mutated in the names of some of the legal heirs of Parvathiammal, if the petitioner is aggrieved by the same, it is for her to file an appeal before the second respondent, who is the competent authority to consider the correctness of the order passed by the third respondent Tahsildar and recording of the names of some of the heirs.
4. Under these circumstances, the petitioner is directed to submit a fresh representation before the competent authority, namely, the second respondent, with regard to her grievance within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. On submission of such a representation, the second respondent shall consider the same and pass final orders on its own merits within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of the representation by him, after affording a reasonable opportunity to the petitioner and all other interested parties/legal heirs of Parvathiammal.
5. Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs. 02.06.2025 NCC :
