ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by N.SATHISH KUMAR, J.) The petitioner has filed this writ petition challenging the notice dated 09.04.2026 issued by the third respondent under Section 7 of the Tamil Nadu Land Encroachment Act, 1905.
2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner.

3. We have heard the learned Senior Counsel appearing for the respondents 1 to 4 and perused the material available on records.
4. A perusal of the records reveals that the challenge in the present Writ Petition is directed against a notice issued under Section 7 of the Tamil Nadu Land Encroachment Act, 1905. Instead of submitting an explanation to the said notice, the petitioner has approached this Court by filing the present Writ Petition. In such circumstances, this Court is of the view that the petitioner should submit a proper explanation to the impugned notice dated 09.04.2026 within a period of fifteen (15) days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Upon receipt of such explanation, the competent authority shall consider the same and proceed further in accordance with law.
5. With the above observations and directions, the Writ Petition stands dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
