This petition has been filed seeking to direct the Respondents to file a final report in Crime No.255 of 2017, dated 26.12.2017, pending before the respondent within stipulated time by this Court.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that on a complaint given by him to the secon6d respondent on 19.11.2017, a case was registered in Crime No.255 of 2017 for an alleged offences under Sections 294(b) of I.P.C. and under Section 3(1) (r), 3(1)(s) of SC/ST Act. The learned counsel would further submit that though the case has been registered as early as on 20.06.2017, the final report has not been filed sofar and hence, he would seek for a direction.

3.The learned Government Advocate (criminal side) would submit that the case has been referred as 'mistake of fact' and the final report is made ready is likely to be placed before the District Committee.
