The petitioner seeks for a Mandamus directing the first respondent to dispose of the appeal pending before him, within a time stipulated by this Court. It is stated that the said appeal pertains to patta proceedings.

2.This Court, at this stage, is not expressing any view on the claim made by the petitioner, as the appeal is pending before the first respondent. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of only with a direction to the first respondent to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner in Appeal No.2592 of 2015 on merits and in accordance with law, after giving due opportunity of hearing to the interested parties. Such exercise shall be done by the first respondent within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
