ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/sole accused, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 3(a), 4 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012 in Crime No.155 of 2023 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner physically abused the daughter of the defacto complainant, who is minor. Hence, the case.

4.It is seen that the petitioner kidnapped the victim girl, who is aged about 16 years and committed penetrated sexual assault on her and therefore, complaint was lodged by the mother of the victim girl. Therefore, custodial interrogation of the petitioner is very much required in this case and as such, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this criminal original petition is dismissed.
