O R D E R

[Order of the Court was made by M.S.Ramesh, J.] Through an One Time Settlement offer, the respondent-Bank had permitted the petitioners to settle the loan amount at a sum of Rs.74.85 Lakhs out of which a sum of Rs.10,00,000/- (Rupees Ten Lakhs only) was already paid. The time offered by the respondent-Bank for such payment was only three days.

2. While the learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the petitioners are willing to repay the loan as per the One Time Settlement, but requires further time, the learned Standing Counsel for the respondent-Bank would submit that in view of the end of the accounting year, the respondent-Bank were constrained to give only three days time.

3. In this background, the petitioners are granted liberty to give a representation for an One Time Settlement of the loan amount within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On receipt of such representation, the respondent-Bank shall give a revised One Time Settlement proposal within a period of one week therefrom. Till such time, no coercive steps shall be taken for recovery of the loan amount.
