ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner, apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent Police, for the offence under Sections 294(b), 323, and 506(ii) IPC r/w. Section 4 of Tamilnadu Prohibition of Women Harassment Act, has filed this petition seeking anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that due to a civil dispute, the petitioner abused the defacto complainant in filthy language and also attacked him. Hence, the case.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution. He further submits that it is purely a civil dispute, for which, a criminal complaint has been lodged against the petitioner. Hence, he prays for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submits that the complaint was received only on 10.06.2024 and petition enquiry is pending in CSR No.260 of 2024.
5. In view of the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl. side), the respondent Police is directed to complete the enquiry, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and in the enquiry, if a prima facie case is made out against the petitioner, the respondent police shall register the First Information Report. Till such time, the petitioner shall not be harassed. The petitioner shall co-operate for the enquriy. 2/3
