PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent to conclude the disciplinary proceeding initiated in pursuant to the charge memo issued by the second respondent in his proceedings e.f.vz;.M3/5734/2019 dated 11.12.2019 within the period that may be stipulated by this Court .

ORDER
By consent of both the parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal.
2. The limited prayer sought for in the present writ petition is for a direction to the second respondent to conclude the disciplinary proceeding initiated in pursuant to the charge memo issued by the second respondent in his proceeding in e.f.vz;.M3/5734/2019 dated 11.12.2019.
3. The facts of the case are that the petitioner, while he was working as Assistant Quality Inspector, was issued with a charge memo dated 11.12.2019 by the second respondent, for which, the petitioner has given his explanation. Subsequently, an Enquiry Officer was appointed, but, till date, the enquiry has not been commenced and so far, no final order has been passed in the aforesaid disciplinary proceeding. Hence, the present Writ Petition has been filed.

4. Since the disciplinary proceeding is claimed to be pending from the year 2019, it would be appropriate to direct the respondents to conclude it within a stipulated time.
5. In view of the above observations, there shall be a direction to the second respondent to conclude the disciplinary proceeding initiated in pursuant to the charge memo dated 11.12.2019, as expeditiously as possible, in any event, within a period of three (3) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
